OHADP/SDF Training: Wound Awareness

As part of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Standards, all workers offering a minimum to high level of harm reduction interventions and drug treatments should receive appropriate training to demonstrate competence. The following training will be facilitated by Scottish Drug Forum. Please register online. Spaces are limited so we would encourage early registration.

Wound Awareness

9.15am - 1.00pm on 19th June 2023

An introduction to wounds and injecting complications related to injecting drugs. This session will expand on the complications that a person who injects drugs might experience and how wounds might happen, how we might recognise when things go wrong and how we can respond.
